• Are all artworks original?

Original paintings are individually hand-painted by Maame Hayfron. Select original works may also be available as fine art prints, offering an accessible way to collect the artwork in a range of sizes. Print availability will be noted on each artwork’s page.

• What is the difference between “made-to-order” and “Custom artwork” ?

Made-to-order: an existing Maame Hayfron design, recreated upon purchase. Because each piece is individually created by hand, subtle variations in texture, tone, brushwork, and movement are expected. These variations make each painting unique while preserving the overall composition and character of the original design.

Custom artwork: created specifically for you from a new concept, rather than recreating an existing design. Custom pieces may be tailored to your preferred size, color palette, composition, and overall direction, while remaining true to my artistic style.

The process begins with an inquiry to discuss your vision, space, and preferences. Once the concept and details are finalized, your piece is individually hand-painted.

• Do you offer local pickup?

Yes! Local pickup is available in Brooklyn, New York by appointment. Select Local Pickup at checkout to avoid shipping fees. Once your artwork is ready, you’ll receive instructions to coordinate a pickup time and location.

• How long will my artwork take to arrive via delivery?

Original artwork (if available) typically arrives within 7-10 business days.

Fine art prints typically arrive within 7–10 business day.

Made-to-order paintings typically arrive within 4-6 weeks.

Custom artwork typically arrives within about 4–8 weeks after design details are finalized.

Please note that delivery times may vary depending on order volume, artwork size, and destination. Any significant delays will be communicated in advance.

• What if I’m unhappy with my artwork?

Progress photos and/or videos will be shared during the creation process, with final photos or video provided prior to shipping. This gives you an opportunity to see your finished piece before it is prepared for delivery.

Made-to-order artwork: Because each piece is individually hand-painted, slight variations in color, texture, brushwork, and movement are expected and are not considered defects. If you’re still unhappy with your piece, please contact me within 7 days of delivery and I’ll work with you to find an appropriate solution.

Custom artwork: Custom pieces are created specifically for you based on an approved direction and are therefore final sale. Design details are agreed upon before painting begins to ensure we’re aligned on the direction of your piece.

• What if my artwork arrives damaged?

All artwork is carefully inspected, photographed, and video documented prior to shipping. If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the artwork and original packaging.

Please do not return artwork without prior approval. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. If a return is required, return instructions will be provided. Once the artwork is received and inspected, I will determine whether the piece can be repaired or needs to be recreated/replaced. Approved repairs or replacements will be provided at no additional cost.

Please retain all original packaging until your claim has been resolved.

• Will my painting look exactly like the one pictured?

It will closely reflect the artwork shown, including its overall palette, composition, and character. However, no two hand-painted works will be identical. Small variations are an intentional part of owning a handmade piece.

• Are the paintings framed?

Unless otherwise stated, paintings are sold unframed. Framing recommendations can be provided upon request.

• Do you offer custom sizes?

Yes. If you are interested in a size not currently listed, please submit a custom inquiry. Availability and pricing will depend on the artwork and requested dimensions.
